Cliffs Of Moher Cycling Challenge

Hosted by Riverside Cycling Club, the Cliffs of Moher Cycling Challenge is a leisure cycle in aid of local charities and voluntary organisations. Past beneficiaries include: Clare Cancer Centre, Milford Hospice, Home Share Clare, Cystic Fibrosis and Ennistymon Hospital.

Three routes are available, catering for all abilities:

40KM Route: For those who just want a small taste of the North Clare cycling, this route takes in the world famous Cliffs of Moher, Doolin (Refreshments) and steers home via Lisdoonvarna.

80KM Route: takes in the scenic North Clare Wild Atlantic way incorporating the world famous Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, the beautiful Fanore, black head and the renowned Corkscrew Hill outside Ballyvaughan, home via Lisdoonvarna.

125KM Route: takes in all of the 80km route with the addition of a detour out of Ballyvaughan which follows the road towards Galway, up the Corker Hill and on to Carran village, down Ballyalban Hill and re-joins the 80KM rout at the base of the Corkscrew Hill.

Refreshments are provided along the route with the main food stop for the 80KM and 125KM at Ballvaughan and back at Ennistymon upon completion of the cycle.
