On Your Bike in Aid of Portumna Day Care Centre.

This year’s much anticipated Sliabh Aughty Challenge Cycle on 13th August, organised by Portumna Cycling Club, will be run in aid of Portumna Social Services Day Care Centre which provides nourishing food to approximately thirty elderly who are transported there by the Centre’s private bus on three days of each week.  The Centre is constantly in need of funds and currently its toilet and showering facilities require refurbishment due to the evolving needs of those attending.

Portumna Cycle Club hopes to help in raising some of these much needed funds for this outstanding community facility.

The event has three route options; the 110k Sliabh Aughty trip, the medium is 55k while the family run consists of a local 15k spin.

This is an ideal opportunity for the people of Portumna and surrounding areas to turn out in force to support this most deserving fundraising cause.

Entry Fee €25 Cycling Ireland members. €30 non-members.
