Tom Crean Unsung Hero Charity Cycle
September 24, 2022
€35
The Tom Crean Unsung Hero Cycle, in association with the renowned Tour de Munster, is an event dedicated to all of our members in Down Syndrome Kerry. The cycle, in it’s fifth year, fondly remembers our young member Emily Keohane who passed away in 2017.
This years event will be on the 24th of September and promises to be a fabulous day of cycling and fun!
The day promises fantastic views, a route to meet every ability (three routes in total), and plenty of laughs!
There will be plenty of refreshments along the route as well as a hard earned BBQ provided by Nathan and his team, on your return to Ballyseedy Home & Garden.
The cycle includes a 75km, 112km and 150km cycle setting out from Ballyseedy between 8 and 10am, going west through Camp, before lunch in Annascaul. The route continues on to Inch Beach and Castlemaine with the longer routes going further out to Dingle and Slea Head before heading back to Ballyseedy to enjoy a BBQ, music and family fun.
We are also having a raffle, €10 per ticket which can also be purchased online at tiny.cc/unsungraffle with 1st prize being a €1000 Voucher for Adare Manor. All cyclists who register for the cycle with have a free entry into the raffle!!
We are also running a 1000 for a €1000, so if we have 1000 register for the cycle a random cyclist will be selected and presented with €1000 on the day!!
