The North Tipperary Wheelers annual Tour of Lough Derg will follow the fantasitc route around Lough Derg in what will be an incredible day of cycling taking in Counties, Tipperary, Clare and Galway. The route will depart from the Lakeside Hotel in Ballina(/killaloe) at the southern end of Lough Derg on the River Shannon and will cross the River again in Portumna at the most northern extremity of the Lough.

This is a truly great sportive with something for every one. There is amazing scenary of Lough Derg, a great foodstop in Portumna forest park and a choice of two controlled paces to cater for all abilities. The departure town of Balllina/Killaoe is easily accessible from Dublin, Cork, Galway and the midlands.
