Westport Co Mayo,

Westportif returns to Westport for 2026. This is one of the longest running and best leisure cycling events in Ireland.

Some exciting changes coming for our 2026 event! Keep an eye on the organisers website HERE and on their Facebook and Instagram pages for route updates and start/finish line changes.

75 KM
Accessible to leisure cyclists of all abilities.

The 75k route offers a stunning adventure through Mayo’s serene lakelands, the enchanting Wild Nephin National Park, and the picturesque town of Newport. Starting at Westport House Estate, this route combines scenic climbs, shimmering lakes, and peaceful forests, with a rewarding food stop at Keenagh before the descent back to Westport.

120 KM
For those who want move to the next stage.

The 120km route is for those who crave an even bigger challenge. Sharing the same start as the 75km route, the longer journey pushes further north after Keenagh, offering jaw-dropping views of the Nephin mountain range as you cross the rugged Barony of Erris. You’ll ride through some of the most remote, untouched landscapes in the world—vast, empty, and absolutely awe-inspiring.

150 KM
For those who crave the ultimate challenge.

The 150k route is a true test of endurance, taking you beyond the 75k course into the rugged beauty of the Barony of Erris and along the breathtaking Currane Loop. From vast wilderness to dramatic Atlantic Coast views, this route delivers unforgettable landscapes and an epic cycling challenge, with a well-deserved food stop in Mulranny.
