World Suicide Prevention Day – September 10th is a global call to action to raise awareness, break the stigma around suicide, and encourage open conversations about mental health.
At Cycle Against Suicide, we believe that together we can change the narrative on suicide. By recognising this day, we stand alongside a worldwide movement committed to reducing suicide and offering hope to those who may be struggling.
This year’s theme, ‘Changing the Narrative on Suicide’ challenges us to move beyond silence and misunderstanding. It calls on individuals, communities, organisations and governments to create a culture of openness, empathy and support, where people feel safe to talk and seek help.
This World Suicide Prevention Day, Cycle Against Suicide invites you to be part of our annual Cycle of Hope – Mizen to Malin, taking place September 5th to 12th. Join people from across Ireland as we come together to change the narrative on suicide, show support for those impacted by suicide, address mental health stigma, and start conversations encouraging help seeking behaviour.
