We go again with the untypical sportive routes that proved so popular last year:
lots of rural lanes leading to some serious climbing before a much appreciated food stop for those keen to take on the full 111k challenge; the same route reduced to 93k and minus the steep Slieve Bloom sections for those not fancying the fatigue inducing Lackaroe and The Cut climbs, and a charming 55k spin along the Grand Canal’s new cycleway with a break in Pullagh for coffee and a bite for anyone who fancies an easier day.
A Cycling Ireland license is a requirement to participate. Day Licences for non CI members are an additional €10 for senior riders and just €5 for under 18s.
