Marble City Cyclers are delighted to announce that they will be hosting the 11th edition of the Tour de Kilkenny on 3rd August 2019. We are running a 40km, 70km, 120km and 160km routes  to cater for cyclists of all abilities.  This is a great day out for the family, a group of friends or work colleagues. This is the 10th and final edition of the annual cycle which commemorates the sad passing of a founding member of the Valley Wheelers Cycling Club. The cycle which is fully supported with service backup and food stops in an excellent challenge for the experienced and not so experienced cyclist. The cycle leaves the picturesque Gaeltacht village of Ballingeary and passed by the Top of Coom (the highest pub in Ireland) on its way to Kilgarven before stopping for refreshments in Kenmare. The Leitrim Glens Sportive takes place this year on Sunday 18th August 2019. This is a non-competitive event. There are four routes this year, the 40km starting at 10:15am, the 100km starting at 10am, the 150km at 9:15am and the 200km at 9am.
